As has been the tradition for the last four years, every year I design a commemorative print for the annual Techcrunch Party at August Capital. In the past, I've just done 11"*17" digital prints. Sometimes, I draw on them.
This year we decided to also do a very large 29" * 38" serigraph - on Rives Arches paper, and silkscreened by hand. It sold at auction for $1,000 to benefit EFF.
The motif is "Dream Big", something I think you need to be able to do if you're ever going to enter the startup space that Techcrunch likes to cover. And, a theme that we've been using in West Texas to promote Stormhoek Vineyards.
The design is large, intense and kinda vague. Most of the good "Big Dreams" are exactly the same.
